Hi, I’m Debi and I’m the designer and creator of Powdered and Waisted Corsetry
My passion for corsets developed over nearly two decades as a wearer/collector. For over twelve years in the early 2000’s, I often worked at weekends for a friends business, selling mass factory produced corsets and other garments at large burlesque and fetish events around the UK. During that time, I was fortunate to meet several amazing designers and was eventually inspired to study corsetry myself. This enabled me to create my own unique, couture designs.
My first design was inspired by the glacial ice of the mountains I loved to snowboard. My love of the mountains and snowboarding was part of the inspiration behind my corsetry brand, Powdered referring to my love of powdered snow and Waisted referring to my love of the corseted waist.
My desire is always to create unique, beautiful, and timeless designs to encompass and emphasise feminine curves.
